What are the points for?

There are two main types of points you can earn: personal and friend points.

Personal points include:

Stretch time. You earn 1 point for every minute you stretch.

Consecutive days. You earn 1 point for every consecutive day you stretch.

Consecutive weeks. You earn a bonus 100 points for every 7 days you stretch in a row.

Active challenges. You earn 1 point per day for each unique person you are in a challenge with.

Friend points. You earn friend points when you are in an active challenge. Regardless of the challenge workout time, you will earn 1 point for each minute your challenger stretched. For example, if your active challenge is for 15 minutes daily, but your friend only stretched 10 minutes, you will earn 10 points. Likewise, if they stretch for 30 minutes, you will earn 30 friend points.

What's a Missed Day Token?

The Missed Day Token allows users to buy back a missed day and continue their consecutive day count. A user is eligible to purchase a Missed Day Token if they had a consecutive day count of 7 days or higher, missed the next day in their count and opened WeStretch the day after to do a routine. Users will be prompted to buy back their consecutive days before they start their routine and after they complete their routine.

The Missed Day Token can also be purchased in the App settings. If a user purchases a Missed Day Token, their consecutive day count will continue but will exclude the day they missed stretching. For example, if a user had a consecutive day count of 34, missed day 35, but opened the app on day 36, they will be prompted to purchase a Missed Day Token. If the user purchases the token, their consecutive day count will continue on day 36 at a consecutive day count of 35. If the user chooses not to purchase the token, their consecutive day count will be reset to 1.

Help! I lost my stretching streak

Life happens. If you wake up and realize you missed stretching yesterday, Ada will offer a chance to buy back your streak. It's available the moment you have 7+ consecutive days, but ONLY available for the day after you missed. I.e. If you're at 27 days in a row and the next you day wake up but forget to stretch, the app will reset your streak back to 1. If you get the Missed Day Token, your tally will continue as if yesterday didn't exist, as long as you remember to stretch today (Meaning you will be at day 28, NOT day 29).

How to use WeStretch PRO

Upgrading to PRO gives registered users access to all PRO features including dashboard, leaderboard, challenge and reward system, all 9 routines, 360+ poses and over 6,000 stretches. An annual membership costs $49.99; Quarterly is $17.99 and a monthly membership costs $8.49. Users pay the fixed price for their country.

The subscription renews automatically if not cancelled within the last 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your App Store or Google Play account will be charged for each new term within 24 hours prior to the expiration of the current subscription. The current term of in-app subscriptions cannot be canceled. You can disable the automatic renewal via your App Store or Google Play account settings at any time.

I want Ada to move slower since I can't keep up

If you want Ada to move slower you just need to start a routine as usual, open the workout settings slide menu in the bottom left and click the "Speed" icon (the last one in the menu). The instructions Ada shows will be slower by 1x, after next clicking the "Speed" button the instructions will be slower by 2x and 3x, respectively.

What does the body part filtering feature do?

This feature allows you to choose specific joints to focus on or joints to exclude during your routine. A red checkmark means the joint will be included in the routine. Joints marked with a grey "x" will exclude the joint from the routine. If you're experiencing pain or have an injury in your legs, simply turn off the filter for both the lower body and

The WeStretch app isn't downloading

If the WeStretch app isn't downloading onto your device there are two common reasons.

1. WeStretch works best on operating systems 4.4+ for Android and 11.0+ for iOS. Make sure your device is set up to date and capable of running WeStretch.

2. There is not enough available storage on your device. Try deleting old apps, photos, podcasts or videos to clear up some additional space.

I lost access to sign in with your Google account

If you signed into WeStretch with Google, then tried to sign in with the email linked to your account and lost access to the account, follow these steps to get back to stretching in no time.

1. Hit the "forgot password" button on the login screen.

2. Enter the email address that is connected to your Google account.

3. Open your mailbox for that email address and click on the "lost your password" email.

4. Copy the verification code from that email, return to the app and input the code in the spot asking for the verification code. Tap "submit" button.

5. Create a new password, confirm the password and hit the "reset" button. You should be able to access the app now. If not, please reach out to team@westretch.ca for further assistance.

I lost access to sign in with your Facebook account

If you signed into WeStretch with a Facebook account linked to your email and lost access to the account, follow these steps to get back to stretching in no time.

1. Hit the "forgot password" button on the login screen.

2. Enter the email address that is connected to your Facebook account.

3. Open your mailbox for that email address and click on the "lost your password" email.

I can't hear any sound on the app

Open the WeStretch app and click on the gear icon in the bottom right. Click on "help" and then "no sound". In there you will find some troubleshooting tips to fix any sound issues.

The app crashed, now what?

The first course of action is to delete the app and reinstall. Don't worry, all of your information remains the same and you won't lose anything. If that doesn't work, please reach out to us at team@westretch.ca.

How can I cancel my WeStretch subscription?

We're sorry to see you go! If you're using an iOS, do the following: click on the Settings menu > click on your name at the top > click on subscriptions. Under "active" you should see We Stretch. Click on that and hit "cancel subscription".

On an Android, click on the App Store > name at top right > click on "Payment & subscriptions" and pick the WeStretch subscription and hit cancel.

If you purchased a subscription through www.westretch.ca, you can log in directly on the website and manage your billing/subscriptions there.

How do I activate my free 7 day trial?

It's really simple! When you sign up, you will be asked to pick a subscription method (monthly, quarterly or annually). You won't be charged at that point, but your 7 day free trial will be activated. You have 7 days to try the WeStretch app for free. After that, your account will be charged based on the subscription method you chose.

I've purchased a subscription but don't have access to all the routines

Close down the WeStretch app. For iPhones X and later and most androids, simply drag up from the bottom of the screen and swipe the app up to close it. Now that it's closed, reopen the app. You should now have access to all PRO features. Still having issues? Make sure the purchase went through by going to your active subscriptions.

If you're using an iOS, do the following: click on the Settings menu > click on your name at the top > click on subscriptions. Under "active" you should see WeStretch. Click on that and hit "cancel subscription".

On an Android, click on the App Store > name at top right > click on "Payment & subscriptions" If you're still having issues with not receiving all your PRO benefits, email us at team@westretch.ca. In the email make sure to mention: (a) the email used for your WeStretch account, (b) the receipt for the purchase from the app store which should be emailed to you after the purchase, (c) the time you made this purchase, (d) your device model.

How can I confirm my WeStretch account details?

To check your account details, please login to the app directly and click on your profile picture in the top right. Click on the edit pencil in the top right and this will display your profile details, including the email address connected to your WeStretch account. An alternative would be to login to the app via our web browser and login here, following the same directions.

I received a discount code for a subscription, how do I use it?

Congrats! Let's get stretching then! If you're a new user and do not have a WeStretch profile, simply go to our website here, and choose the subscription plan the code should be applied to then enter the code upon purchase. During this process, you will also create your WeStretch account. You will be issued a receipt upon completion of your purchase outlining the discount code used.

 

I have a WeStretch account and wanted to apply a discount code. How do I do this?

Our discount codes can only be used by new users or existing users without an active subscription (Free users not Pro users). Also, discount codes can only be used for specific and active promotions we have running, so make sure you subscribe to our mailing list to get in on the action. If you want to receive emails from WeStretch, log in to our app > click on the gear icon in the bottom right > tap "email subscriptions" to activate.
 
 

How do your coupon codes work?

Our coupon (discount) codes can only be used by new users or existing users without an active subscription (Free users not Pro users).  In most cases, every coupon code is meant for single use only (one (1) coupon per user (account) can be used).
 
Most if not all coupon codes have an expiration date which is indicated at the bottom of any emails you may receive (if subscribed) or other marketing material where applicable. 
 
All coupons codes can only be redeemed via our website at westretch.ca and not via the app store.

How does WeStretch help with pain?

A lot of pain stems from inflammation and muscle tightness, among other things, When you stretch, you allow your blood to flow to the areas of concern, which clears out the old blood, supplies additional nutrients and oxygen to the afflicted areas, and allows the muscles to release their tension.

Our goal at WeStretch is to help you stretch every joint in every direction, covering muscles that you might have missed in your own exercise. While you might notice your pain lessened after one stretching session, the improvements will become greater the more regularly you stretch!

What makes WeStretch different from other stretching apps?

Using Artificial Intelligence, WeStretch is the only app that merges the science of kinesiology with the foundations of yoga and Pilates into a daily guided health and wellness stretching routine. Stretching can be boring and repetitive. Our algorithms are designed to ensure that you are constantly stretching different muscles and joints. You may notice that you only stretch one side during a routine - that was on purpose! You will stretch the opposite side in one of your next routines, but this keeps variety in each of your stretching sessions!

WeStretch was designed with the help of a physiotherapist, so you can rest assured that every pose is safe to do and will help you feel your best!

What equipment do I need to use the app?

You don't need anything! That's the beauty of the WeStretch app. You don't need any gym equipment, just a phone or tablet, a table to set it on and you're good to go. If you prefer, you can use a yoga mat for comfort.

How do I install the WeStretch App

Just head over to the app store (iOS or Android) and search "WeStretch". Download and then sign up!

Is there an Apple TV/Smart TV version of WeStretch?

Unfortunately,we do not at this time but we're working on adding this platform in the near future. Stay tuned!

How can I create a challenge with a friend?

If you're a current user with a profile, you can go directly to your main dashboard. Click on the middle icon at the bottom (2 men), and from there you can challenge a friend, challenge our virtual guide Ada or challenge a group.

After creating a challenge with a friend just share with them the link app generated.

Explain what the badge system is all about

Our badge system is rewarded for completing tasks and some can be earned multiple times. The current types of badges we have are one week, 15, 30, 45, 60, 88, 100, 200, 225 consecutive days; 1000 routines, Christmas Spirit and New year's Resolution. These badges are earned when you complete the badge criteria to unlock them.

If you miss a day, you will still have the opportunity to re-earn any badges you’ve previously received. Badges you’ve earned do not expire.

How can my friend accept the challenge?

Your friend needs to download the app, create an account and click the link you've sent to them. After clicking the link your friend will see the challenge under the "Pending" tab on the "Challenge" screen. Your challenge will start right after the friend clicks the "Accept" button. Let the competition begin!
